Texas SV Riders

Texas Suzuki SV Riders Forum

Hey folks. It's good see a few familiar faces using this board again. I just thought I'd hop on here to let you know that my house was broken into about three weeks ago. They made out pretty well including my lovely GSX-R750. It was a bummer but for those of you that know me I'm quick to find a new bike project whenever the opportunity presents itself. I did some serious looking but ended up on another big twin, just a different make this time. Here she is...

A 2002 RC51. She has just about every nice mod already completed (Leo Vince titanium exhaust, adjustable clip-ons, Sargent seat, PCIII, reworked forks). As some of you know this is my first non-Suzuki. I've owned SV's (650 and 1000), a TL1000, and the gixxer. I'll miss the Zuk's but glad to be on a Honda.

So Brian (Rose) - you're going to be my new go-to guy if I run into anything I can't tackle myself. You'll be seeing more of me around Al Lamb's when I need parts, etc.

Took her out for a nice 150+ mile ride Sunday morning. Felt great to be back on a twin. Man I wish I could post a sound clip of this girl. It's amazing.

Glad to see that y'all are flirting with the idea of getting out for a ride/meetup sometime soon. I'm definitely going to try to get out this evening. See y'all soon.

Sorry for the loss Adam. It really sucks to have your stuff stolen like that.

I could understand and forgive when you went from a twin to a I4, because I had done the same. You stayed with Zuk and that was acceptable, but now you must be branded a traitor. I can't believe you bought a crappy honda and such an ugly one too. A bike with a terrible reputation and poor performance. What were you thinking?????? The loss of your GSXR750 must have permanetly affected your mental state. What a shame. None the less you are still a effing TRAITOR!!!!!!

I must be allowed to molest this beast immediately !!!!!!!
