Corbin Seat
Just ordered a Corbin seat for my SV1K. Does anyone here know if the Corbin seat has a lower height than the stock SV seat? In the picture it looks like it does. If so, how much?

I ordered seat #2 from Corbin for the new style '03 SV (I had to convince #1in SoCal to take his bike in so they could make the mold).
I was hoping it would make the seat lower, but unfortunately it made it a bit taller. The seat may actually be about the same height, but the saddle seems a bit wider, so it has the effect of feeling taller because it bows your legs out more.
Overall I'm pretty happy with it; one gripe is that the mounting brackets are just untreated steal, so they tend to rust and can transfer some rust to the frame. I've had it for 5 years though, and it hasn't been a major problem.

I'll try painting the brackets to prevent the rust. I've never ordered anything from Corbin before. Any idea how long it takes them to make a seat? Thanks for the response!

I can't recall how long it took, but I don't remember it being more then a week or two.
