Any tests to verify if the RR is causing my problem with charging system? I have having a hard time determining if the stator or rr is causing my system not to charge.

Hey Rick, sorry nobody has responded yet. I've got a few tips on the charging system if you're still having a problem. At our Honda dealership 85%-90% of the time, a bad battery is responsible for charging problems. You need to have your battery in a full state of charge and take it to the dealership and have them test it with a battery analyzer. A simple meter wont tell you if you're having a problem with the battery not holding a charge. If you're around the Dallas area, you're more than welcome to come to my service dept at Al Lambs Dallas Honda and we'll charge and test you're battery for free. If you do that, you're welcome to ask for me and I'll give you some tips on what to check for on your charging system.

Thanks for the offer. I am in Spring so the drive is a little more than I have time for now, but thanks very much. I believe it was the rectifer. It would not get over 12 volts at the battery when it was running no matter what the rpm was. I found a replacement rectifier and now I am read 13.5. Bike is all bolted back up. I hope to ride it this week to verify if it worked (lets see about the rain coming Monday and Tuesday). We will see. Hope for the best. Thanks
