Share 'Scotts Damper'

I am giving thoughts to purchasing a Scotts Damper for my SV. My brother had one installed on his R6... but I never got to ride it. Anyone with an SV have any experience with a Scotts? Before and After Input? My first wreck occured from a tar snake and tank slapper... I'm just trying to help ease my thoughts of another slapper taking me out.
